Dayse Jourdan
Dayse Jourdan is a Founding Partner of the Innovative Business Advisory Australia Brazil firm. The firm’s focus is on the evaluation of startups, enabling innovative business in Australia and Brazil.
Dayse has fifteen years of experience as a Telecom Consultant in the delivery of solutions for major Telecom Service Providers in Australia and South America. She has worked on major projects throughout this period and consequently has a comprehensive experience in enhancing products and services through her functional and technical knowledge.
Dayse’s main expertise is in Business impact assessment, Solution Design and Implementation of large scale business systems solutions (BSS) to improve customer experience, reduce operational cost and enhance billing accuracy. She has also performed multiple roles in Business and IT with experience in requirement analysis, solution definition, data modelling, application development and support.
Dayse has a passion to learn new technologies and identify opportunities to solve business problems through innovative solutions.
Jorge Cardenas
Jorge Hernan Cardenas is a Founding Partner and Director of the prestigious Colombian Advisory firm, Oportunidad Estrategica (Strategic Opportunity). The firm’s focus is on the design, implementation and evaluation of social and economic policy and business development strategies. Among some of the main projects undertaken by the firm were a review of the efficacy of Colombia’s Export Agency, an assessment of policies towards Small and Medium Enterprises and a Report on Strengthening Competition Policy.
Prior to his work with Oportunidad Estrategica, from 2003 to 2005, Jorge Hernan was Executive Director of the Corona Foundation, which ran a major project on the development of entrepreneurship in Colombia. From 1997-2003 he held the position of Dean of the Business School at University of Los Andes and under his tenure the School achieved the full European Quality Assurance Accreditation granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
From 1995 to 1997 Jorge was a Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the Organisation of American States where among other things he was responsible for a Program to Modernise Business Management Systems. From 1992 to 1994 he worked as an Adviser to the Presidency of Colombia, with a special focus on the modernization of the State and Reform of the Public Sector.
Jorge holds a Masters in Management Science from MIT’s Sloan School, a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Minnesota, and a Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes.
